The F-150 Lariat luxo-truck gets leather upholstery, 18-inch alloy wheels, a flashy chrome grille, woodgrain interior trim, automatic climate control, memory seats and power adjustable pedals as standard equipment. Options include captain's chairs with a center console and floor shifter, as well as two-tone paint. Introduced after the 2004 Ford F-150's initial launch, the upscale F-150 King Ranch tops the line. Constructed on a new fully boxed frame with hydroformed front rails, the 2004 Ford F-150 is an astonishing nine times stiffer torsionally. This additional rigidity results in a much more solid ride, better responsiveness and less shake and shudder on rough roads. Though Ford has improved the rear seating comfort for the 2004 Ford F-150 SuperCab, it's still not someplace adults will want to spend much time. The bottom cushion is low, flat and hard, and leg space is distinctly lacking. Foot room under the front seats, on the other hand, is exceptionally good. So, with a SuperCab, limit rear passengers to short people with huge feet.
