The automaker claims it is conducting an advertising blitz like it did on the F150 pickup truck. Despite the makeover, the Ford Focus remains inexpensive, stylish, practical and fun. The sedans are comfortable and move people efficiently. The three-door hatchback proves to be economical and practical, yet sporty and fun. Thankfully, Ford hasn't spent all of its resources on new nameplates and complete redesigns. They've also made an attempt to keep existing products fresh and appealing, as is the case with the 2005 Ford Focus. This new iteration can be compared to a college student heading into junior year. With its updated image comes a new lineup of models. This all came to mind after just 10 miles behind the wheel of a 2005 Ford Focus ZX4 ST sedan. What a wonderful family car for a base price of just over 18 grand. What a great driving car for the young dad who wants to get away for a couple of Sunday afternoon hours on the winding rural roads of North Carolina. What a nice vehicle for mom to take the kids to school.

Sony created the system with this interior in mind and the in-dash unit can hold six CDs and play your MP3 recordings. They don't brand this one a "Sony Focus" as they did in earlier years, but that's what the ZX4 ST with this optional audio system is. If you enjoy music of any kind, you'll love this, which almost matches the best systems on luxury cars. The 2005 Ford Focus ZX4 ST doesn't have the top Xenon headlights, but its halogen units did a nice job of lighting not only the area in front of the car, but to each side as well.
