Seekonk Speedway USAC Northeast Ford Focus Series 25-lap feature, 16-year old hotshoe Brit Andersen of Branford, CT continued his winning ways, going pole to checker to post his third win in four starts at Seekonk this season. Andersen withstood four cautions to chalk up another victory in convincing fashion. Brit Andersen of Branford, CT made history with his win at Seekonk Speedway on Saturday night, August 27, 2005. Andersen will enter the record books as the first-ever winner in the Ford Focus Midget portion of the Boston Louie Seymour Memorial Classic. Andersen took the lead from Ryan Smith on lap four of the 9th Annual Boston Louie Seymour Memorial Classic and never looked back. In support of the Northeast Ford Focus Midget Series the Buck Baker Racing School has announced they will award a series driver a two day racing school at any track they currently hold classes. To qualify a driver needs to display the Buck Baker logo on their race car and be a winner of one of the scheduled 2005 series races. This will make them eligible for a random drawing to determine the winner.

United States Auto Club officials have announced that three racetracks have agreed to host USAC Northeast Ford Focus Series events for the 2005 racing season. The first three tracks to join the USAC Ford Focus Series family of racetracks are Seekonk Speedway in Massachusetts, Adirondack Speedway and Oswego Speedway in New York State.

Arute, an experienced mini-sprint and legends racer on the East Coast, will pilot the No. Arute also hopes to compete in the Northeast region if a car becomes available. Dec. 2001 - Ford Racing and the United States Auto Club (USAC) today announced the formation of the Ford Focus Midget Car Series presented by the Southern California Ford Dealers. This new series will begin competition in spring of 2002 and contest a tentative 20-race schedule at as many as six tracks in Southern California. Irwindale, Calif. - After his day job was complete, Kurt Busch made the trip to Irwindale Speedway for the United States Auto Club California Ford Focus Midget Car Series event. Qualifying ninth, he finished in the same position in the 25 lap feature.
