When you have found an agency (or group of agencies) you wish to contact, start by placing the phone call and telling the answering receptionist your name. Explain that you are interested in a modeling career and give (if allowed at that point) the receptionist other pertinent information, such as how many and what type of photos you have, whether you have any previous experience, and which area of modeling you are interested in pursuing. If you haven't yet had any photos taken, ask for a list of photographers. After the agency has obtained this preliminary information from you, you might then be asked to: a) send in a photo and resume; b) attend an open audition which some agencies hold every so often; c) come in for a private interview.

The lawsuit further claims that in 1999, Ford Models was directed to transfer all of Pavitt's stock to other Cassandra clients, and Ford acquiesced without Pavitt's consent.
